To deter squirrels in a more humane way while ensuring birds can feed safely and undisturbed.
This bird feeder features a built-in motor and a rechargeable (and replaceable) battery. The motor is connected to a gravity-triggered perch ring—birds won’t activate it, not even larger species like woodpeckers or cardinals. But as soon as a squirrel jumps onto the perch, the motor is triggered, and the feeder begins to spin gently until the squirrel is (lightly) tossed off. It’s a humane way to deal with persistent squirrels—no electric shocks or poison to harm them. Meanwhile, birds can feed peacefully without interruption.
1. Effective Squirrel Deterrent
The motorized perch ring is triggered the moment a squirrel climbs on, using its weight to gently spin and toss it off the feeder—keeping your birdseed safe.
2. Large Capacity & Multiple Feeding Ports
The 17-inch feeding tube holds up to 5 lbs of birdseed, reducing refill frequency. Four feeding ports allow multiple birds to dine at once, with internal baffles ensuring even seed distribution.
3. Durable & Stable Build
The feeder is suspended from a stainless steel wire loop that minimizes movement and prevents spillage. The base and lid are made of heavy-duty metal, while the feeding tube is crafted from UV-resistant polycarbonate that won't fade over time.

I previously purchased a bird feeder, but the squirrels destroyed it—they chewed a hole in it—so I found this gravity feeder from Rywell. It is very well made. The squirrels stay away from it. If a squirrel is foolish enough to jump on it, I really hope I'm there to see it. I also like its large capacity.
